If you have a ps3 that plays ps2 games, it will work. Only problem I find with the stick are the buttons don't feel all the great and the stick does move around. The is my first arcade stick and I have to say, its pretty good. The joystick is the highlight of the stick.
he uses it everyday and hasn't had any problems for 3 months of ownership. very good product cosidering the price tag. good joystick. got it for my brother and modified it with some original artwork on the panel & new buttons.
they work fine, but arent as responsive as sanwa buttons. otherwise, the buttons on this stick will go out quick if you are an aggressive masher.the entire unit is relatively small and light in weight. the surface is laminated, i would suggest removing it because it eventually starts to wrinkle and warp. so it might not be suitable for larger set players.the button layout is a little awkward.
wow, the prices of these things have gone up since i bought this item. you would eventually want to replace them if youre serious about performance.the stick isnt an issue. i removed mine and it still looks great.the buttons themselves are the lower grade hori buttons. popularity of these controllers are increasing and a lot of people are looking to these as alternatives to the highly anticipated madcatz TE stick.
itll be hard to play without tucking your elbows close to your body.it comes with a lengthy usb cord thatll be enough to sit across a average sized bed room. its the same in most japanese style joysticks out there.compared to the street fighter 4 SE stick, i would say the stick is better assemebled but the buttons arent as responsive.overall its a good stick for casual players. for less than half the price, this stick performs pretty well if youre a gentle player. its no wider or taller than two bluray cases put side by side.
the sick is made of poor quality i had to open it up and replace a metal o ring wich holds the stick , i was on the middle of playing and next ting you know it was on my hand ,so i had to run to a hardware store and pick and metal o ring and put it back toghether
The slant of the buttons become unnoticeable after enough playing, but it is still a minor design flaw in my eyes.Modifying it isn't as easy as the other sticks, but it definitely can be done to turn into a tournament stick. Although I cannot say I've compared and tried alot of sticks, I like this one alot.Surprisingly small and portable, it came to me in excellent condition (box and all). The stick feels solid and very responsive, and the buttons are light to the touch but click in the way they let you know you've done it. It comes with a stock Square Gate under the joystick and switching it to the octagonal gate is probably the easiest of its mods.I'm making my second purchase so my friends and I can battle it out. As a novice fighting gamer, and like the many others who gained interest from the SF4 craze, I wanted a nice introductory stick to get used to. Much research has lead me to buy this stick.
